THE REINCARNATION OF BERLIN TEGEL AIRPORT AS URBAN TECH REPUBLIC
The Urban Tech Republic is becoming a research and industrial park focused on urban technologies for the cities of tomorrow. Graft Brandlab led a unique collaboration between engineers, architects, scientists, UX designers and mobility experts: Arup, EPEA, GRAFT Architects, PCH Innovations and Transsolar joined forces to develop visionary approaches for the site. The result is a study with an overarching concept for future developments, an urban planning manifesto and a catalog with innovative solutions for entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, producers and students.
